Single Pair & Single Triad PVC Insulated and Jacketed Foil Shielded 300V Instrument Cables + Moisture Barrier

Physical Description

Power-Limited Tray Cables conforming to UL Subject 13 and NEC Article 725 Class 2 Circuits.
The cables can be used for instrument interconnections in process plant for LF control applications.
Each cable contains one twisted pair or one twisted triad.
The cables are overall foil-shielded and jacketed with FR-PVC compound.
200 aluminum foil, bonded to itself and to the outer heavy-duty, black, UV resistant PE outer jacket provide a vapor-tight moisture-barrier.

Conductors

Stranded bare annealed copper, Class B ASTM B-8.

Insulation type Flame retardant PVC compound, conforming to BS 6746 Type 5.
Insulation thickness 0.4 mm nom.

Color code

Pair: Black x White.   Triad: Black x White x Red.

Conductor arrangement

The conductors are twisted together with a 50mm max. lay length.

Core warp

Polyester tape, providing 100% coverage.

Drain wire

Stranded annealed tinned copper.

Overall shield

Polyester-aluminum tape, foil face in, providing 100% coverage.

Inner Jacket

Heavy-duty Flame-retardant PVC compound, UV resistant, conforming to BS 6746 Type 9.

Rip-cord PA stranded rip-cord (14 Kgf) laid under the jacket for easy jacket removal.
Inner Jacket thickness 0.5 mm nom.
Color Black, RAL 9005.
Rip-cord PA stranded rip-cord (14 Kgf) laid under the MB for easy jacket and MB removal.

Moisture barrier

200 bonded aluminum tape, copolymer coated (both sides).

Outer Jacket

Heavy-duty Flame-retardant PE compound, UV resistant.

Color Black, RAL 9005.
Surface printing WW P/N, Cable description, Batch Number, Sequential meter-mark.
